What is an Arcology

Definition
Arcology, a portmanteau of "architecture" and "ecology" coined by architect Paolo Soleri in 1969, defines a vision of hyper-dense, self-contained, three-dimensional vertical cities. These massive structures aim to integrate residential, commercial, and agricultural facilities to minimize human environmental impact, eliminate urban sprawl, and foster sustainable, pedestrian-oriented communities.

An Arcology is a central infrastructure framework, which when fully developed leads to replicable planetary & orbital infrastructure capability being unlocked, enabling the development of a decentralized self-sustainable cosmic republic civilization model.

Its core mission is to conduct deep-ocean reconnaissance, biosignature detection, and first-contact protocols while maintaining Arcology-grade governance, research districts, and industrial autonomy beneath the ice.

The Colonial Seeder Arcology is an Ark-III class Arcology design capable of delivering Allmatter Ark Seeds to other planets. The Colonial Seeder aims to enable the capacity to use its Allmatter Ark Seed System to install industrial & biological support systems for new Arcology projects across SOL and beyond.
