MATERIAL - Wax (Beeswax)
Overview
Beeswax is a natural animal-derived wax produced by honeybees for constructing honeycomb structures within hives. It is valued for its durability, pleasant natural aroma, water resistance, and stable burning characteristics. Beeswax has been used for thousands of years in candles, cosmetics, polishes, medicinal salves, encaustic art, waterproofing treatments, food wraps, leather conditioning, and industrial coatings. Its natural golden coloration and smooth texture make it one of the most versatile traditional waxes.
